Are you a non-profit or small business in need of an attractive, yet affordable website?

LeGa Design Group is a Durham, NC-based design firm delivering creative and accessible websites for non-profits and small business owners.

I am a one-woman shop, so when you hire me, you can be confident that I will actually be the person completing your project from start to finish. How many design firms can make that promise?

I'll also help you navigate the process from registering a domain name and setting up affordable web hosting to applying search engine optimization (SEO) tools so visitors can easily find you. What's more, I'll personally sit down with you after the website launch and teach you how to update your own site if it uses a content management system like Wordpress or Drupal. Don't want to deal with the updates? I handle small monthly changes and additions for a number of clients for a small hourly fee.

Whether you want a small one to two page website to advertise your local brick and mortar business or a multi-level site with online donation pages and an eMarketing plan, I can help. Check out my design portfolio to see what I've done for other businesses like yours!

33 Website Traffic Tips from the NTEN conference

Allan Pressel gave a dynamic and entertaining talk about some things that organizations can do to drive traffic to their websites and then what you want your website to do once those people arrive. My notes on the presentation are in PDF form. So download a copy if you'd like some ideas to jump-start your organization.

Do some good and get noticed!

I have been a member of the Durham Young Professionals for almost a year now and recently I joined the newly reformed Community/Civic sub-committee to help other like-minded professionals do some good in our local neighborhoods.

This past week, we collected boxes of mac & cheese as part of the DYP Monthly Mingle for Urban Ministries in downtown Durham.

I received a call from an old friend of mine this morning when he saw me in the Herald-Sun newspaper and he congratulated me on doing something good for the community and being famous for a day.

I originally joined the DYP to spread the word about my services, but it's great to see this group as more than just a place to make contacts! For more information about how to help out and to sign up for events, check out the DYP website at the Durham Chamber of Commerce or see what opportunities you may find at your own local Chamber.
